O Christmas Tree - December 21st Inspiration

For this week's assignment we could use any Christmas Set.  I chose to use the O Christmas Tree Background Set and the Christmas Card Fun Set.  From the Christmas Card Fun set I used the Christmas Tree Card.

First I printed the O Christmas Tree Background on a laser printer and then applied red foil over the top.

I

I loved the "waste" foil, so I used it instead of the printed and taped it behind the open Christmas trees.  I attached a white plain piece over the "waste" foil.

I then printed O Christmas tree from the sentiment set that comes with the cards and applied red foil to it as well.

I finished it off with a red ribbon and a bow.

Christmas Treat Cups - December 7th Inspiration

For this week's assignment we had to use the Christmas Treat Cups.  I chose to use the snowman.  Isn't he the cutest!!!

I printed the sentiment in toner and applied red foil with the Minc. 

I attached a red Bell at the top of his hat and a few Button Up snowflakes to finish it off. 

The treat cup is filled with White Pepermint M & M's.

Gratitude - Nov 21st Inspiration

Welcome to Thanksgiving at the Café!!
This week our assignment was to use the With Gratitude Set.

I used Regina's tip of the day from January, 2014 to convert the gratitude background from a PDF to a JPEG.  You can find that tip here.

I then uploaded the Gratitude background into Design Space and made it a pattern on the top layer, so I could print then cut the shape.

I then layered it on a black mat and then onto the green card.

Next I printed the Thanks, Thanks, Thanks and used a circle punch to cut it out.

Then I converted the scallops to a JPEG and uploaded into Cricut Design Space.  I then did a print and cut on the red scallop to finish off my card.

For this week's assignment we had a free week, so we could pick any file from the store to use.  I  used the Beehive Shaped Card set and the Hexagon Shaped Card set.    I love free weeks because Regina has SO MANY great files, but it is always so tough to narrow it down to just one or two!!

I used vellum for the wings and gems for the big bee.  The sentiment is foiled in gold with they Minc.

I made a second card with this same Hexagon card base and used a few different layers of pattern paper and solid mats. 

Both cards use the same Hexagon card base, but they look so very different.

EEK Shaker Card - October 21st

It's all about Shaker cards this week!  We could use either the 3 Halloween Shakers or the Halloween and Fall Shakers.

For this weeks assignment we could use either the large or small File Folder Box Holder Set.

I used the small File Folder sized to hold A2 cards.

I used two dividers plus the divider and trimming pieces.
