Christmas card 2009

My Christmas card this year is made with Quikutz Letterpress tool and red ink. The tree is embossed as well as inked. The paper is Club Scrap and the ribbon is from Wal-mart.

Gesso resist with watercolor paints for background. Chatter box "easy bradmaker kit" for brad. Nestabilities small and large deckled rectangles and EK success border punch. Dog colored with Copic markers.

Mothers Day Cards 2009

Bear, flower and dress are Go Kreate dies. Background done with a Gesso resist and watercolor paints. Paper is Club Scrap.

Feeling Blue

Snorkel paper and ribbon. Then I used my Copic air brush to do the blue background the fish are colored with Copics. The rectangle is cut with my new Nestabilites deckled rectangles. Paper is Coordinations.

Coordinations paper, Embossing Rose is Stampin Up. Stamp is PaperTrey Ink and square cut with nestabilites.

Dad Bear Hugs

Paper from Costco patterned paper set, green border is cut with a Quickutz die and then sanded. Bear and bear hugs stamps are from Ellen Hutson. Bear colored with copics. For you is a rub-on.

Baby Onesie

Paper is Stampin Up In Color Baja Breeze. Frame in the middle around Sweet Baby (PaperTrey Ink stamp) is a Spellbinders square embossed. Scallop punch also Stampin Up and Making Memories button brads.

Golf Birthday (Kevin 2009)

Solid paper is Bazzil and the patterned paper is the pack from Costco. The golfer in the frame is cut with the Cricut Sports Mania cartridge.

The Ivory and Chocolate paper are Club Scrap and the red is Stampin Up. The rubber stamps are Whipper Snapper Designs. The dog was colored with my Copic Markers.

Hubby's Valentine Day Card

Paper is all Bazzil, the red heart is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and then sanded. Images are from http://starvingartistamps.com and colored with Copic Sketch markers (I am just loving these markers).

Copic Challenge

Copics Colour Challenge #1
I've found a new challenge blog for all copics marker fans. It's the first challenge over on Copics Colour Challenge and there are three copics colours to use on your creations:
B28 - Royal Blue, V06 - Lavender, YR07 - Cadmium Orange
You can use one are all the colours, if you don't have any of these colours you can use the nearest you have to that colour or colours.

I would not normally put these three colors together, so this was out of my comfort zone, but it is a challenge, so I did. I usually just make cards as I need them, so I will make this into a card at a later date. I really liked how this turned out.
