Copic Storage

I needed a new way to store my Copics.  I was storing them in the Copic wire racks, but I outgrew that.

Then I came across this post on the La La Land Crafts Blog and knew that was what I needed.  I ordered 2 of the Copic Sketch Holder Kit.  I love the look of wood so I also used the faux wood idea.

Here is my finished rack.

Some of the in progress photos.

Thanks for taking a look. :)

Now on to this weeks project, Back to School!  I knew I wanted to use the

HANDS DOWN YOU'RE THE BEST...PRINTABLE SET!

Since I have fur children and they don't go to school, I used the printable "Hands Down your the Best Co-worker.  One of the things that I love about Regina's files are the printables!  She makes it so easy to find a sentiment that perfectly matches your project!!

I used the yellow hand cutout (from the box) on the inside of the box, so that has the contents goes down, it reveals the hand.

I cut two scallop borders for around the top of the box and the top of the lid.

Thanks for checking out this weeks project!!

The Planner

Be sure to visit the Cutting Cafe Blog on the 7th and 21st of the month for our design team inspirational post in which by leaving a comment you will be entered into a drawing to win 3 FREE sets of your choice from the online store.
Now on to this weeks project. I used the THE PLANNER - PRINTABLE SET

I know the design team has some beautiful Planners to inspire you, but I decided to focus on one element of the Planner set.  I created an altered clipboard for a Shopping List.

I created a pen loop, so we always have a pen handy (I don't know about your house, but we NEVER have a pen when we need one) and can hang this little cutie in the Kitchen for easy access.  I printed more shopping lists, but do have a few meal planner sheets at the back, so we can use as well.

Anything with Fall Colors Challenge!

I created this card to enter into SVG Cutting Files Anything with Fall Colors Challenge!.

I fell in LOVE with the CHibi Scarecrow and had to use him for the focal point of my card. The card base is also a SVG Cutting Files file , it is the Bracket Label Card Base )  (The Bracket Label Card Base comes with one layer, but I wanted an additional layer, so I just copied the layer and resized.

I edged all the pieces with Pan Pastels. I love how they add a softer punch of color. I LOVE how cute that scarecrow is!

I loved how cute and easy this file was to create. I have to mail all my cards, so they need to be pretty flat to make it through the mail.

Here is the front of the card.

and here is the back with the photos of the kids in the little pocket.

Thanks Regina for a super Fun project that my Mother-in-law is sure to love!
