Life is a Joy
I created my own background with Ruby Red and Charming Chartreuse reinkers.
I dropped the ruby red on Yupo paper sprayed with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and then sprayed it with air until I liked the look.
I then repeated the same technique with the Charming Chartreuse until I like the blending. Be careful where the colors blend as these are not alcohol ink and will blend together. I didn't want any muddy colors, so I just went slow.
I then cut my tag out of the background and matted it on red cardstock. I then attached the super kit couple from Life is a Joy. I stamped the sentiment directly on the Yupo tag.
The couple was colored with Copics:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00 and E000
Brown Hair: E29, E25 and E21
Blond Hair: E18, E15, YR23 and Y21
Green: G28, G24, G21 and YG03
Red: R59, R29 and R22
Shoes: W3 and W1
Chicks: Y17, Y15 and Y11
Bench: E79, E77, E74 and E71
Also be sure to share your creations on the Krafty Friends facebook page because we LOVE to see your stuff!

Thanks for stopping by,
Super Sweet Kerri! love your background ! vibrant and gorgeous colors! precious image, and cute cute little tag.
ReplyDeleteto prevent the inks to over blend... have you tried doing only one color at a time, and letting dry betweenthe layers?
Thank You! :)
DeleteI did let the red dry first, but when the green touched it it reactivated it a little. I wanted a little overlap of color, so I then blew the red back over the green. Once I was done I let it dry for several days and then buffed off a few sticky spots.
