2015 DAY Card

Be sure to visit the Cutting Cafe Blog on the 7th and 21st of every month for our design teams inspirational post in which by leaving a comment you will be entered into a drawing to win 3 FREE sets of your choice from the online store.

This weeks assignment was either 2015 Calendar Printable Set or 2015 Day Calendar Printable Set.  I chose to use the 2015 Day Calendar Set.  This set can be used for so much more than making a Calendar (though that's a good use too).

I chose to make a Birthday Card using the March 14th Day.

I crumbled the day, added gathered twigs distress ink, spritz denim ink and then spritz water and heat set.  This gave the "day" a nice old distress look to it.

I just Love the look the set gives to a card!

Thanks for stopping by.

  3. I agree! You totally rocked this! I love the distressing you did to the calendar page. The papers and embellishments are perfect for a guy. It always seems harder to make something for the guys...you nailed it!
