I colored her with my Copics:

Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00 and E000
Hair: E29, E25 and E21
Pink: RV29, RV25, RV23 and RV21
Black: W09, W07, W05, W03
Cream: E43, E42, E41 and E40

I embossed the background with an embossing folder and then rubbed Nuvo Embellishment Mousse over it in Mother or Pearl, Black Ash and Peony Pink.

Pink cardstock is sweet berry from Fun Stampers Journey and black sparkle ribbon is also from FSJ.

Lunch - December 28th Inspiration

For this card I used:
Luncheon Meet - 86-17

For this card I used Fun Stampers Journey splash sprays to spray over SSS waves stencil.   I colored the fish in Copics and wiped some Distress ink in Evergreen Bough over the whole piece.  I embossed the sentiment in Wow silver sparkle embossing powder.  The sentiment is no longer in the store, but there are lots of other great "fish" sentiments.

Merry Christmas

I stamped both the Branches and Merry Christmas Lights inside the Merry Christmas Frame.  I added glitter to all the ornaments and added a glitter paper as one of the paper borders.

Beautiful Tree - December 18th

For this card I embossed the tree in clear sparkle embossing powder and then I rubbed Tim Holtz distress ink in seedless preserves over the top.  The pattern paper is from Bo Bunny and the solid is Pretty Pansy from Fun Stampers Journey.  The snowflakes  and tinsel trim are also from FSJ.

For this card I stamped the kitty in clear pigment ink and then pounced Pan Pastels in red and silver over the kitty.  I added sparkle and glossy accents to the star and sparkle to the lights.

Snowman treat bottle - Dec 7th Inspiration

Now on to this weeks inspiration!  For this week we need to take a can or a jar and decorate it using any of the Christmas sets.

I chose to use a Milk Bottle and the Snowman Shaped Card




I cut the buttons and face in vinyl and adhered to the bottle.  I tied some ribbon around the neck of the jar and then added the arms to the back of the bottle in cardstock so they would stick out to the side. 
 
I added a Santa Hat to the snowman to make a cute Holiday Gift!

 


This would be a cute way to give someone a little gift.

Holiday Cheer - November 30th

For this Card I used:
Snowflakes and Stardust Set - 481



I stamped the tree in Sweet Berry ink from FSJ and then embossed the snowflakes over the top.  I used a few of the snowflakes on the arrow pattern paper and finished it with then sentiment next to the tree.

I added a few rows of micro fine glitter and a row of gems.

I stamped the cornucopia with glue and then adhered metal flake to it.  Once the flake was on, I used Color Burts in Burnt Orange, Terre Verte, Lemon Yellow and Alizarin Crimson.

Fall Harvest - November 20th

For this card I used:

Freehand Border Phrase set 900

If you have not looked at these "scene" stamps before, you should!  They have lots of elements you can use again and again for those finishing touches.



I just used the old truck, the pumpkins and a few of the grass springs.

The Old Truck was colored with Copics:
Rust: E18, E15 and E11
Truck: G99, G94, G24 and YG61
Tires: C8, C6 and C4
Windows: B0000 plus I added glossy accents

I stamped the grass springs in FSJ Old Olive and Pumpkin Bread ink.  Cocoa Powder crimp ribbon from FSJ and gems from my stash .

For this card I used Fun Stampers Journey 6x6 Autumn Prints.  I then used a FSJ Leaf and die cut some leaves out of the same green print.  I then added some Sparkle and Sprinkle glitter to the leaves.  Stamp colored with Copics.

I used the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle and the stitched Hillside borders to do the fun snow scene.  I used FSJ Winter Hill Die set for the trees.  I added white Liquid Applique for the snow on the tree tops and behind the skier.

This week is all about Gable Boxes!!

I used the Mini scallop gable box, but you can find the whole set here.   The flowers are from the card in a box embellishment set, sheet 3.



The flowers are cut from 3 birds glitter paper and cut on the Cricut.  The ribbon is from Fun Stampers Journey.

I colored the snowman and Penguin with my Copics and fussy cut an additional present from the Snowman.
Red: R59, R29 and R22
Green: G99, G94, G21 and YG03
Silver: C7, C5, C3 and C1
Grey shadow: W3, W1 and W00



I stamped the Watercolor trees in FSJ Green Olive ink and add some snow caped branches with Liquid Applique.    I stamped the Snowflake Panel on all three white "snow hills" to show the falling snow and I stamped in FSJ Silver ink.  I put the penguin on a slider holding a present to give to the snowman.  I also put glossy accents on the penguin's glasses.

Breast Cancer T-Shirt - Oct 21st inspiration

I cut the fight out of the T-shirt and then popped up the pink ribbon on foam squares.  I sanded the paper to give it a distressed look and then added glitter to the FIGHT and two stripes at the bottom.

It's all about Halloween at the Cafe this week!  I used one of the 3 Halloween Treat Cup Cards.



I used the BOO card and filled it with Recces Pieces!  I printed the Ghostly Treats and Minc'd it with orange foil.

The cute little Ghost is also from this file and then I added faux stitching around the B, O and ghost.

I used Fun Stampers Journey Tangerine Fusion for the solid cardstock and pattern paper is 6x6 Boo from Michael's.  The three squares are cut from a Sizzix die and stamped with clear ink and heat embossed with WOW embossing powder.  Ribbon is also from Fun Stampers Journey.



With all the glitz in the embossing powder it was a little hard to photograph, so I took this one laying down.

I used the box with a window and lined it with acetate.  The paper is from Tim Holtz.




I printed the color Snail Mail and Butterfly's.

I embossed the sleepy hallow tree with WOW Black Glint Embossing powder.  I embossed the Witch with WOW Black Twinkle embossing glitter.  I used solid cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey, Tangerine Fusion and Pineapple Smoothie.  Pattern Paper is Fancy pants designs Trick or Treat.  Black sparkle ribbon from Fun Stampers Journey.  Spider web die from La-La Land Crafts and cut clear cardstock.

Cutting Cafe Sep 7th Inspiration!

I'm Back!!  I'm Back!!  After moving from MN to IL, selling the house, buying a new one, moving, still unpacking my scrap space.  I'm finally back to Cutting Café DT work.  I'm so happy to be back!

For this week we were assigned the Autumn Sentiment Card Frames and I also used the Pumpkin Shaped Card.



I printed the Autumn Card Frame "Happy Fall" on a laser printer and ran it through my Minc with Orange foil.  I then cut the rest of the card off to make this a panel for the front of standard A2 card. 



I then cut out two pumpkins from the Pumpkin shaped card set and cut out a top layer to give the pumpkin some dimension.


The solid cardstock is Tangerine Fusion from Fun Stampers Journey.  The lemon grass journey thread is also from Fun Stampers Journey.  Pattern paper is from K & Co.

Rubbernecker DT Team 2 Post

For this card I used:

Cheesecloth Background  #437
Freehand Phrase Set #900




I stamped the detail image in Fun Stampers Journey Black Licorice ink and used watercolors to color.  I then stamped the Cheesecloth background on FSJ Lemongrass cardstock and embossed with WOW Clear Sparkle embossing powder.  I matted the Rose on the embossed cardstock.

Solid cardstock Lemongrass is from Fun Stampers Journey.  Sequin trim is Amazing Trim from FSJ as well.  Spellbinders die cuts poke out behind the rose.  Pattern paper from Studio Calico Snippets 6x6 collection.   Nuvo Bottle Green drops for the butterfly's and crystal drops.
