For this weeks assignment Regina challenged us to alter any kind of item that we would normally throw out after it was empty and use it with one of the many background sets from this printable background link
I decided to use the Christmas Chevron Printable.
My item that was going to be thrown away is Hubby's Monster Drink Can.
I cut the top and bottom off.
Then I taped it to a piece of copy paper and printed the red and blue chevron on to the metal. I then heat-set the ink with my heat-gun, to make sure ink was dry.
I then loaded the metal into the Cricut and chose custom settings (Alumminum metal) and cut the Stars from The Cutting Cafe's Card in a Box Embellishments Sheet 1.
Here are the stars.
I cut a rounded card and layer from Cricut images and then cut a red label image. I wrote Congratulations in Samantha font on the red layer.
I added some twine, the stars on two different height pop dots and a button. I didn't want to add too much and take away from the stars!!
Thanks for stopping by.
wow wow wow wow wow....didn't even know that was possible...wow
