For this week it was a free week using any Christmas Set.  I used the Bell Shaped Card!

I added gold accents and lace to make this bell come alive.  I love this little set so much I'm going to use it for my Christmas cards this year.

For this week we were to use and of the Animal Shapes and make it Christmas themed!

I chose to use Hey Foxy

I made the fox accents out of a subtle pattern paper.  I made the Santa hat out of red glitter cardstock and then added Liquid Applique to make the fluffy white accents.

This adorable little set comes with the Santa Hat, Antlers and a Birthday Hat!

Coffee Cup Card and a Winner!

Today we are using one of our favorite sets and giving that set away to one of our readers! What do you need to do to win this set? For today's post I am using The Coffee Cup Shaped Card Set and the Got Coffee printables for the sentiment.

I added Mud Puddles glue and their sand to the two accent pieces to give them a beachy 3-D look. I die cut the sentiment with a circle and added 2 Queen and Co. flowers.

Felt Flowers

For this week we were to use any set image and cut out something other than paper.  I chose to use the flowers from the Card in a Box Embellishments.

The stamp set is called Beautiful Blooms from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.  I used Nuvo Glimmer paste for the background, die cut the frame and floral border.  I cut the two flowers from the Cutting Cafe in dark and light blue to finish off the card.

This week is a FREE week, meaning we can use any file in the Cafe.  For this week I choose to use the MAP SHAPED CARD.

I printed and foiled the state names from the included list and then outlined them in red glitter Nuvo pen.  I then took red bakers twine and coated with Ranger Multi Medium Matte and formed the heart from California to Illinois.  I popped up the states on foam squares and added the Wish you were here also included in this set.

This set is so cute for so many occasions. How will you use it?

For this week we were to use any of the shape cards and make a note book.  I used PIG SHAPED CARD TEMPLATE AND CUTTING FILE and then I cut some note paper and bound it all together with my bind-it-all.

And here you can see the note paper inside.

I added some googly eyes and stitching to finish the note-pig off.

For this week Regina did something a little different.  She asked us to tell her what Word WE wanted as a card and she created it for us.  I asked for WOOF and the sentiment is I WOOF You!

I used some dogie themed paper to cut the W O O and F and then added a dogie bowl and wooden bone button to finish it off.

I Love this file!!!

Baby Girl!

For this week we were to use either ALL ABOUT GIRLS  or ALL ABOUT BOYS.  These are both printable sets.

I chose to use the All About Girls set.  I uploaded the Spoiled but not rotten and the Baby Girl into Cricut Design Space and then filled the words with the same pattern and then cut them out.  I also cut out a mat for the photo using the same pattern.

I then added Chalk Couture white paste over the paw transfer and bubble gum pink paste over two different size hearts on the outside of the glass. 

This is My Baby Girl Ziva and this shadow box is now up in my craftroom!  Thank you to my bestie Angela for sending me this super cute shadow box.  It was perfect for this project!

A2 WINDOW TOP CARD FRAMES - TEMPLATES AND CUTTING FILES and ANIMAL FRIENDS PRINTABLE SET

I used the super cute Dog from this set.  

I colored the dog and the background with my Copic markers:

Dog: C9, C7, C5, C3 and C1

Sky: B0000 and B000

Ground: E59, E57, E55 and E53

Tongue: R22 and R21

Both of these sets are super cute and have so many uses!

It's all about Halloween at the Cafe this week!  I used one of the 3 Halloween Treat Cup Cards.

I used the BOO card and filled it with Recces Pieces!  I printed the Ghostly Treats and Minc'd it with orange foil.

The cute little Ghost is also from this file and then I added faux stitching around the B, O and ghost.

I used the box with a window and lined it with acetate.  The paper is from Tim Holtz.

I printed the color Snail Mail and Butterfly's.

Now get out your pen and write a letter to someone.  You know they will love it!

EEK Shaker Card - October 21st

Welcome to Halloween at the Café!!

It's all about Shaker cards this week!  We could use either the 3 Halloween Shakers or the Halloween and Fall Shakers.

I chose to use the 3 Halloween Shakers and used the Spider.

I gave her some eyelashes and a bow.

I used sequins and beads for the shaker.

I chose to use the Fall Word Shaped Card and the Halloween and Fall Basic Shape Set.

I used the Fall Card, the Fall top and then the individual letters. 

I then used the Halloween and Fall basic shapes to cut he acorns and pumpkins in two different sizes.

File Folder - Cutting Cafe

For this weeks assignment we could use either the large or small File Folder Box Holder Set.

I used the small File Folder sized to hold A2 cards.

I used two dividers plus the divider and trimming pieces.

I think this would be a very cute way to give a gift of cards to someone.

Pocket full of posies - Cutting Cafe

For this week's assignment we had a free week, so we could pick any file from the store to use.  I picked the Pocket Shaped Card Set.   I love free weeks because Regina has SO MANY great files, but it is always so tough to narrow it down to just one!!

I took the two stitched pockets and resized them to create two layers. 

All pattern paper is from Badic Grey Picadilly paper pad.  Sparkle and Sprinkle glitter in Sunset for the flower centers.  Stampin up ribbon around the pocket. 

I printed the sentiment from the set and added a few more flowers.  I also added a red flower button from my stash.
